ChillPAC

Johnson Controls has announced the launch of Sabroe ChillPAC Air chillers for industrial refrigeration applications in Europe. These highly efficient air-cooled chillers use ammonia (R717) as a refrigerant and can be installed outdoors, providing facilities with a sustainable solution that doesn’t require the construction of a machine room.  

The durable, weather-proof enclosure of ChillPAC Air chillers makes it possible to install units on the ground or on the roof of a facility close to where cooling demand is needed. The unit’s design includes an extra-compact shell-and-plate evaporator, a robust SMC compressor, and double V-coil condensers that help reduce their overall footprint.  

The full line of ChillPAC Air chillers includes 15 different standard models with capacities ranging from 300 to 1400 kW. The units can supply temperature levels that range from -40 C to 10 C.
